What you will do
- Lead technical design and execution for consumer-facing security and monitoring systems.
- Own backend architecture, data flows, and identity and authentication integrations.
- Hire, manage, and develop a team of engineers.
- Maintain a high bar for security, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Partner cross-functionally to align product goals and technical strategy.
- Use data and experimentation to improve onboarding, engagement, and user value.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
- 2+ years of engineering management experience.
- Experience building consumer-facing products.
- Strong user empathy and ability to balance technical tradeoffs with product outcomes.
- Track record of building and growing high-performing engineering teams.
- Experience leading 0→1 product development.
