TL;DR

Location: Hybrid role based in London or Nuneaton, UK, with at least two days per week in office

What you will do

  • Lead engineering squads owning delivery, architecture, and people development
  • Evolve scalable, reliable cloud-native platforms using microservices, containers, and CI/CD
  • Partner with product and tech leaders to deliver roadmaps and customer outcomes
  • Champion engineering excellence including clean code, testing, and automation
  • Recruit, mentor, and grow engineers fostering ownership and innovation
  • Communicate progress and manage dependencies across squads

Requirements

  • Location: Must be based in or near London or Nuneaton, UK, with hybrid office attendance
  • 3+ years managing engineering teams of 8+ people delivering complex software
  • Strong development background in JavaScript, Java, or Kotlin with microservices and cloud experience
  • Solid understanding of agile, DevOps, testing, CI/CD, and automated deployments
  • Proven ability to coach teams, lead strategically and hands-on through change
  • English: Job posting in English, minimum B2 level assumed
