What you will do

• Lead two engineering squads, overseeing the delivery of game-changing features for global football analytics.
• Ensure technical excellence by actively participating in architecture and system design.
• Partner with senior product managers and QA to negotiate trade-offs and ship high-value features.
• Manage and mentor approximately eight engineers, focusing on their growth, wellness, and team culture.
• Drive the adoption of AI tools and modern technologies to improve engineering workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in engineering management, including a background as an IC or tech lead.
• Strong technical proficiency in C#, TypeScript, AWS, and Postgres.
• Proven experience building customer-facing products.
• Must be based within commuting distance of London, UK.
• Ability to build trust with engineers through deep technical knowledge and architectural guidance.
