What you will do

• Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers up to Senior level to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Define team vision and roadmap aligned with company-wide goals and priorities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into engineering projects.
• Work with Principal Engineers to develop scalable and reliable software architectures.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and maintain best development and operational practices.
• Partner cross-functionally with product managers and engineering leaders to ensure alignment and improve delivery speed.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience with 3+ years managing teams
• Deep understanding of software architecture, APIs, and scalable backend systems
• Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams in fast-paced environments
• Strong communication skills including strategic documentation writing
• Experience with domain-driven design and cross-functional development
• Ability to work with geographically distributed teams and stakeholders
