TL;DR
Engineering Manager (Fintech): Leading engineering teams responsible for clinic payments, invoices, financial reports, and health insurance integrations with an accent on technical strategy, predictable delivery, and operational standards. Focus on modernizing legacy systems, supporting complex technical discussions, and developing future mentors and leaders.
Location: Remote or hybrid, with offices in Curitiba and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9am to 6pm.

What you will do
- Manage, coach, and develop engineering team members through regular feedback and performance assessments.
- Define and manage the technical vision and strategy for the finance area.
- Lead teams responsible for clinic payments, invoices, financial reports, health insurance integrations, and related domains.
- Ensure accountability, predictable delivery, high quality, and strong operational standards across initiatives.
- Partner with Product counterparts, Staff Engineers, leadership, and key stakeholders to shape the area's strategic direction.
Requirements
- Strong English communication skills, written and verbal; CV must be submitted in English.
- Strong technical background across the software development lifecycle.
- Ability to support teams and unblock complex technical discussions.
- Experience modernizing legacy systems into modern architectures.
- Experience leading teams' ways of working, mentoring others, and developing future mentors and leaders.
- Proactive, accountable approach to delivering sustainable, high-quality software and following the “you build it, you run it” philosophy.

- Previous fintech experience.
