Corporate Strategy and Planning Lead (AI, SaaS): Driving clarity and focus in hirify.global’s long-range growth strategy by identifying high-impact product bets, new market and monetization opportunities, and investment priorities with an accent on M&A strategy, investment evaluation frameworks, and H2/H3 planning. Focus on evaluating existential threats through robust scenario analyses and ensuring alignment across Product, Finance, and GTM teams for strategic initiative execution.

Location: This role is based in hirify.global's San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. In-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, with the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on team and work type.

Salary: $207,000–$243,000

What you will do

  • Lead market analysis to support "big bets" and shape M&A strategy.
  • Develop rigorous investment evaluation frameworks to guide portfolio decisions.
  • Drive Horizon 2 and Horizon 3 planning efforts for sustainable long-term growth.
  • Evaluate existential threats and market opportunities through robust scenario analyses.
  • Identify and evaluate strategic partnership opportunities aligned with hirify.global’s vision.
  • Drive alignment across Product, Finance, and Go-to-Market teams for effective execution.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in corporate or product strategy, focusing on portfolio investment and new product incubation.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS business models and monetization strategy.
  • Strong analytical and cross-functional skills to bridge Product, Finance, and Go-to-Market teams.
  • Proven track record of leading complex strategic initiatives from conception to execution.
  • Demonstrated curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.

Nice to have

  • MBA is a plus.
  • Prior strategy consulting experience.
  • Experience in a B2B SaaS company known for innovative product strategy.
  • Experience navigating complex M&A or strategic partnership evaluations.
