What you will do

• Lead and mentor engineering managers across platform and infrastructure teams.
• Define and execute a long-term technical vision for high-scale, low-latency systems.
• Drive platform initiatives focused on developer experience, observability, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with product and business leaders to align platform investments with company strategy.
• Foster a high-performance engineering culture emphasizing autonomy and technical excellence.
• Ensure operational excellence including uptime, incident response, cost efficiency, and scalability.

Requirements

• Location: Must be onsite in Berlin two days per week (hybrid setup)
• Experience leading 25+ engineers and multiple engineering managers.
• Proven track record in architectural decisions balancing speed, stability, and scalability.
• Hands-on experience with internal developer platforms, scalable APIs, or ML/AI tooling.
• Experience in high-growth, high-tech organizations, ideally in DevTools, AI/ML platforms, or B2B SaaS infrastructure.
