What you will do

• Own the career growth, performance, and recruitment of all game engineering talent.
• Define and uphold technical quality standards across all live and new game titles.
• Partner with the VP Technology to shape the long-term technical strategy and engineering roadmap.
• Manage engineering staffing and capacity planning across the entire game portfolio.
• Collaborate with Art and Design leadership to ensure engineering constraints inform product decisions.
• Champion the integration of AI-assisted workflows to accelerate development and delivery.

Requirements

• Fluent English proficiency required.
• Proven track record in engineering leadership and people management within the gaming industry.
• Deep technical background with experience in Unity, TypeScript, or Java.
• Extensive experience shipping and maintaining live-service games.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and engineering architecture trade-offs.
• Ability to work from our offices in Hamburg or Malta as part of a hybrid model.
