TL;DR

Engineering Manager (Growth): Leading a team to develop and optimize products for hirify.global's self-serve growth funnel with an accent on increasing customer conversions, improving onboarding, and expanding product usage. Focus on driving technical vision, leading test experimentation, and scaling architecture.

Location: Hybrid in Denver, CO, or San Francisco, CA. Individuals are expected to work from the office 2 to 3 days a week. Starting January 2026, hub-based employees will be expected to work from the office 3 days per week.

Salary: $197,000–$274,000 USD (Base Salary range)

What you will do

  • Lead a team focused on growth initiatives to increase customer conversions, improve onboarding, and expand product usage.
  • Drive technical vision and lead test experimentation to unlock business value and improve customer experience.
  • Partner with product management to build new features and enhance existing ones.
  • Reduce technical debt and sustainably scale the architecture.
  • Build relationships with cross-functional teams and represent the team in planning and product meetings.
  • Nurture, grow, and hire top talent, optimizing engineering processes for velocity and quality.

Requirements

  • 4+ years as an engineering manager and 8+ years as an engineer.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong skills in critical thinking, decision making, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
  • Experience managing quality incidents as both a technical and communication lead.
  • Experience working on products at scale, understanding data, legal, human impact, and technical nuances of highly regulated products.
  • Strong experience with TDD, pair programming, and agile methodologies.
  • Deep understanding of service architecture, system design, and lean software development principles.
