Fullstack AI Engineer (GenAI)

Location: Montreal, Canada; on-site

Salary: $50,000–$70,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and develop full-stack applications that power GenAI applications and platforms.
• Build APIs and infrastructure for LLM-based features, tools, and agent workflows.
• Develop responsive frontend applications with Next.js, API routes, Tailwind CSS, and related libraries.
• Write clean, scalable, and secure code in Python and TypeScript.
• Work with vector databases, data pipelines, and AI model endpoints including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Hugging Face.
• Collaborate with frontend, ML, and product teams while optimizing systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of full-stack development experience.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
• Strong experience with REST APIs, microservices, and scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Experience building or supporting GenAI applications or LLM-powered products.
• Comfort working with agentic systems and AI tools.
• Exposure to AWS, GCP, or Azure, as well as Docker and Kubernetes; strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience building and scaling AI-powered SaaS products.
• Contributions to open-source GenAI projects.
• Understanding of context engineering and agent orchestration frameworks.
