What you will do

• Act as the technical point of contact for global database services.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts and root cause analysis for complex infrastructure issues.
• Develop and maintain processes for SQL Server installation, configuration, and maintenance (2016/2019/2022).
• Lead services for Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Drive automation and scripting initiatives (PowerShell preferred).
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Requirements

• At least 5 years’ experience in database and Windows service management.
• Strong knowledge of T-SQL, SSMS, and SQL Server Agent.
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows networking.
• Familiarity with backup tools (e.g., Veeam, native SQL backups).
• Understanding of ITIL processes and change management.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
• Exposure to monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, Azure Monitor).
• Knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery (HA/DR) setups.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
