What you will do
- Develop high-quality technical documentation, including user documentation, API documentation, release notes, and troubleshooting topics.
- Work with different teams to gather information and ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible content for a range of audiences (developers, system administrators, security professionals).
- Participate in product planning and design discussions to advocate for documentation best practices.
- Improve documentation processes to refine content creation, review, and publication workflows.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in technical writing, documentation tools, and information architecture.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in the software industry.
- Proficiency in documentation tools such as Markdown and version control systems (GitHub).
- Experience with the docs-as-code workflow.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proven ability to understand complex technical concepts and communicate them to diverse audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly documentation.
Nice to have
- Ability to use AI/ML tools.
- Familiarity with CSS and Python scripting.
