What you will do

• Develop and execute market strategies to establish Monad as an industry leader in the South Korean market among institutional and retail investors.
• Lead business development efforts by identifying, negotiating, and closing strategic deals that drive capital inflows and user adoption.
• Build and nurture relationships with key ecosystem players, including VCs, exchanges, media, and developer communities to expand Monad’s presence.
• Stay on top of the evolving South Korean regulatory landscape and trends to identify high-impact opportunities.
• Facilitate the entry of global ecosystem startups into the South Korean market by providing strategic guidance, local insights, and connections.

Requirements

• 5+ years of business development experience, including 3+ years in blockchain, digital assets, or Web3 startups.
• Deep understanding of the South Korean market and proven ability to engage retail and institutional investors.
• Established network across local Web3 startups, institutions, and enterprises.
• Self-starter who takes ownership of initiatives from ideation to execution.
• Native-level fluency in both Korean and English (written and verbal).

Nice to have

• Existing relationships with South Korean financial institutions exploring or actively involved in Web3 initiatives.
• Entrepreneurial experience across the full startup lifecycle, including fundraising, product launches, and operations.
• Deep technical understanding of blockchains.
