What you will do
- Define the strategic direction for Product Design, ensuring UX consistency and quality across the product suite.
- Serve as a hands-on leader, performing direct individual contributor design work while mentoring and coaching.
- Ensure excellent communication across all business levels, articulating the value of design initiatives.
- Cultivate influence with senior stakeholders to secure investment and align direction.
- Scale the Product Design function and embed design best practices within product teams.
- Proactively shape a robust, organization-wide design culture promoting shared ownership of design quality.
Requirements
- 8+ years’ experience in a product design role in a dynamic, SaaS business or an investment management firm.
- Proven track record in growing and scaling a design function.
- Excellent communicator with diverse stakeholders, including Executive teams, Engineering, and Sales.
- Comfortable working in growing, fast-paced, agile environments.
- Ability to contribute as an individual contributor (IC) and a leader.
- Think in terms of the big picture while delivering on details.
- Must have permission to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
