Lead Product Designer, Travel & Disruptions (Fintech)

TL;DR

Lead Product Designer (Fintech): Shaping a clear and reliable travel experience, helping customers feel informed and supported during their journey with an accent on real-time service design and mobile app interactions. Focus on improving outcomes through data-informed experimentation and ensuring coherent experiences across the end-to-end journey.

Location: Hybrid, must work from the office a minimum of 60% of the time over a 12-week period. There is also a 28-day Work from Abroad policy.

Salary: £85,000 – £90,000

What you will do

• Define how hirify.global delivers a best-in-class travel experience.
• Lead design across a set of Travel & Disruptions initiatives.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering and Data partners to explore, validate and deliver experiences on both Android and iOS apps.
• Line-manage and mentor designers, setting direction and raising the quality bar.
• Use insight, craft and data to continuously improve outcomes.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading Product Design or UX within complex, consumer-facing digital products.
• Experience designing journey-based, real-time or service-oriented experiences.
• Strong hands-on design skills, with high proficiency in Figma.
• Experience using research, insight and data-informed experimentation to improve outcomes.
• Confidence designing for all channels but specifically mobile apps.
• Experience line-managing and mentoring designers.
