Focus on defining new AI-native interface paradigms, evolving design systems for adaptive behaviors, and ensuring transparency and trust in AI-powered travel tools.

Location: Must be based in the United States (Austin, New York, Chicago, Seattle, or San Jose)

Salary: $208,000 – $387,000 total cash range depending on location and performance.

What you will do

• Translate strategic AI vision into high-impact visual narratives and interactive prototypes.
• Define and evolve UI patterns for conversational, multimodal, and adaptive AI systems.
• Design intuitive feedback mechanisms for agentic and mixed-initiative AI interactions.
• Evolve the core design system to support AI-native components and intelligent layouts.
• Collaborate across research and data teams to incorporate behavioral insights into design strategies.
• Foster a culture of open critique to elevate visual and interaction design standards across the team.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in UX design or related fields.
• Portfolio showing exceptional UI/visual craft and modern digital product interface design.
• Experience designing AI-powered interfaces, including state management and multimodal interaction.
• Expertise with modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Cursor.
• Deep understanding of prototyping with LLMs and prompt engineering principles.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (E-Verify participant).

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in Human-Computer Interaction or Cognitive Science.
• Experience defining visual frameworks for highly complex, data-informed digital platforms.
