TL;DR

Business Development Manager (Fintech): Managing a portfolio of customer accounts and driving the entire sales cycle for a business credit card with an accent on outbound prospecting and high-volume cold calling. Focus on self-generating leads, ramping up card spend, and maintaining high standards of FCA regulatory compliance.

Location: Remote, with the expectation to be in the Brighton or London office once a quarter and onsite for the first onboarding week.

Salary: Base £30,000-£40,000 + Uncapped commission (OTE £60k-£70k+)

What you will do

  • Manage the full sales cycle for a portfolio of customer accounts, from outbound prospecting to account management.
  • Conduct 30-50 outbound cold calls per day to SME owner-directors.
  • Self-generate leads and build a robust customer pipeline.
  • Drive and hit specific targets for business card spend.
  • Maintain high standards of compliance with FCA regulations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of telesales experience, preferably in B2B sales.
  • Proven experience in a high-volume cold calling role.
  • Experience managing a 360 sales cycle.
  • Background in financial sales, ideally card sales.
  • Must be able to visit Brighton or London offices quarterly and attend an onsite onboarding week.
