What you will do
- Define, invent, and deliver metrics to accurately measure user and business value across products and marketplace components.
- Think critically about sampling and experimental design across User and Demand dimensions.
- Interpret analysis results, validate approaches, and continuously iterate to improve products.
- Partner effectively with program management, engineers, and other business areas within the Consumer online business.
- Engage with stakeholders to produce clear, compelling, and actionable insights and data-science driven workflows.
- Make independent decisions for the team and handle difficult tradeoffs, translating strategy into clear, measurable plans.
Requirements
- Doctorate in Data Science or related field with 5+ years, Master’s with 7+ years, or Bachelor’s with 10+ years of data science experience.
- 5+ years of experience in programming languages such as Python, R, MATLAB, C#, Java, or C++.
- Experience applying statistics, designing experimentation, and defining metrics, particularly in Advertising platforms.
- Ability to commute to a Microsoft office in the U.S. at least four days per week if living within a 50-mile range.
