Salary: USD $119,800 – $234,700 per year (USD $158,400 – $258,000 in San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area).

What you will do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Develop and optimize data models to support analytics.
• Apply advanced analytics to extract insights from large datasets and enable data-driven decisions.
• Implement data validation frameworks and monitoring to resolve quality issues.
• Troubleshoot data pipelines for timely and accurate delivery.
• Work with security-first mindset on scalable and maintainable systems.
• Coach and mentor peers while advocating best practices.

Requirements

• Ability to meet hirify.global Cloud Background Check and security screening requirements.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding (C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python) OR equivalent.
• Experience in data engineering, analytics, or related fields.

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree AND 6+ years or Bachelor’s AND 8+ years experience.
• 3+ years in business analytics, data science, software development, data modeling, or data engineering.
• Experience with Apache Spark, Hadoop, SQL, RDBMS, Key Value stores.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure), ML tools, data visualization (Tableau, Power BI), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
