TL;DR
Sales Engineer (AI): Partnering with potential customers to support technical evaluations of an AI-native analytics platform with an accent on consultative technical advisory and product adoption. Focus on owning the technical sales cycle, bridging the gap between data science workflows and product value, and informing the product roadmap.
Location: Must be based in New York City (NYC) and work in the office 2 days per week
Salary: $165,000 - $190,000 (OTE)

What you will do
- Serve as a technical advisor to data scientists and analysts using SQL and Python
- Own the technical sales cycle from discovery and demos through to proofs of concept
- Partner with Account Executives to develop deal strategies and execute evaluations
- Synthesize prospect feedback to inform the internal product roadmap
- Manage architecture, security, and technical reviews required by prospects
- Create demo projects, documentation, and videos to support user evaluations
Requirements
- 2+ years in a customer-facing role with pre-sales exposure
- Familiarity with Python, SQL, and BI tools
- Proven track record of solving problems for stakeholders from ICs to senior executives
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Based in New York City (NYC)
- Interest or experience in early-stage startup environments
