Senior Engineering Manager

Salary: $209,700–$273,775 in Zone A, $188,730–$246,398 in Zone B, and $174,051–$227,233 in Zone C.

What you will do

• Build, mentor, and lead a distributed full-stack engineering team across levels and global locations.
• Drive developer experience and platform capabilities across the design system, including theming infrastructure, rapid prototyping tools, AI-powered accessibility remediation, and developer tooling.
• Scale hirify.global's in-house translation and localization platform, improving translation quality, latency, and adoption across product surfaces.
• Partner with Design, Product Management, and engineering peers to embed accessibility, internationalization, and quality standards into platform tools and automated guardrails.
• Drive operational excellence, release hygiene, governance, and the balance between platform stability and developer iteration.
• Lead triad planning, roadmap alignment, quarterly capacity allocation, and a high-trust engineering culture.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing software engineering teams in platform or full-stack domains.
• Proven experience leading senior and principal engineers, guiding execution, and mentoring team talent.
• Strong full-stack technical background spanning backend service architecture, distributed systems, resilient microservices, React, TypeScript, browser runtime performance, and modern web foundations.
• Experience with design system infrastructure, developer platforms, prototyping tooling, localization systems, or AI-assisted developer workflows at scale.
• Ability to collaborate closely with design managers, product managers, and TPMs to balance design quality, platform scalability, and developer velocity.
• Experience leading distributed, asynchronous engineering teams across multiple time zones.
• Passion for technical mentorship, operational rigor, and building high-trust team cultures.
