Location: Remote within the U.S.

Salary: $180,000 - $225,000

What you will do

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Data Engineers and Tech Leads focused on data pipelines, warehousing, and platform development.
  • Define the long-term data engineering roadmap in partnership with Product, Analytics, and Infrastructure teams.
  • Foster a culture of engineering excellence, data quality, and cross-team collaboration.
  • Establish clear goals, metrics, and accountability for delivery and operational health.
  • Stay updated on latest technologies and industry trends in software development.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to shape technical strategy and advocate for best practices and scalability.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in technical leadership within cross-functional and distributed teams.
  • Outstanding communication, organizational skills, and user-centric mindset.
  • Experience implementing agile methodologies, particularly Kanban and/or Lean.
  • Experience leading teams building production features for SaaS applications.
  • Proficient in strategy planning and stakeholder management.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach engineers for personal and business growth.
  • Location: Must be based in the U.S. for remote work.
