What you will do

• Lead, hire, and coach a high-performing team of data scientists and analysts.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to identify opportunities and influence long-term product roadmaps.
• Define key metrics and design monitoring systems for product initiatives, including AI-powered features.
• Support A/B testing, segmentation, and inferential analyses to drive business growth.
• Collaborate with ML Engineering to deploy personalization, predictions, and intelligent automation.
• Communicate complex data insights and trade-offs to senior executive leadership.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data science with 4+ years in people management.
• Deep expertise in product analytics for SaaS (user acquisition, activation, retention, and expansion).
• Advanced coding skills and strong statistical reasoning.
• Experience at the intersection of data science and AI product development.
• Proven ability to turn complex data into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Must be based in Denver, San Francisco, or New York.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with ML applications such as churn prediction or LLM-powered features.
• Familiarity with multi-product SaaS ecosystems and customer lifecycle analytics.
