Salesforce Technical Architect (Salesforce): Designing and architecting innovative, scalable, and secure solutions primarily leveraging the Salesforce platform for State & Local Government clients with an accent on Salesforce Public Sector Solutions, data modeling, and integration strategies. Focus on leading technical discovery sessions, responding to RFPs, and ensuring best practices in architecture and deployment within complex public sector environments.

Location: Remote from anywhere in the US. Must have ability to work without current or future visa sponsorship.

Salary: $144,000 – $248,000 per year

What you will do

• Collaborate with account teams and clients to understand their mission, business processes, and technical requirements.
• Design and architect innovative, scalable, and secure solutions leveraging the Salesforce platform, including Data Cloud and various Salesforce Clouds.
• Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts (POCs) that showcase solution value.
• Lead technical discovery sessions and workshops with clients to refine requirements and validate solution designs.
• Provide expertise on Salesforce best practices, architectural patterns, and integration strategies within a public sector context.
• Conduct code reviews, set up CI/CD Pipelines, DevOps processes, and lead deployment of Salesforce modules into production.

Requirements

• 10+ years proven experience in consulting and delivering client engagements at a technical level.
• 5+ years of Salesforce Industries experience, solutioning and delivery experience.
• Extensive experience implementing and/or architecting solutions using Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Industries Cloud (Public Sector Solutions Cloud) within complex environments.
• Proven ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes via technology and integration.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, able to effectively present and defend a point of view to various audiences, including C-Level.
• Salesforce Certifications (e.g., Application Architect, System Architect, Data Cloud, Platform Developer 1 and 2, OmniStudio, Service Cloud).

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline (or equivalent demonstrable work experience).
• Salesforce System and Application Architect, CTA, OmniStudio Developer, Platform Developer 1 and 2 certifications.
• Experience with other relevant technologies and integration patterns.
• Familiarity with healthcare-specific GxP compliance and security requirements like HIPPA, GDPR.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Salesforce Technical Architecture best practices.
