Data Engineer (Platform Integrations): Designing and running data migrations for a multi-tenant SaaS platform with an accent on data mapping, transformation, and validation flows. Focus on building robust Python and SQL pipelines, ensuring auditable, safe, and reversible data onboarding for new brands.

Location: Hybrid setup: 2 days on site in Utrecht, 3 days remote. Must be based in the Netherlands.

Salary: up to 8.000 euro gross per month

What you will do

• Analyse data models and map source to target schemas across multiple brands.
• Build and maintain data transformation pipelines using Python and SQL.
• Design and run dry runs with clear validation logic, logging, and error handling.
• Ensure data migrations are auditable, safe, and reversible.
• Collaborate closely with the integration architect, platform engineers, and project management.
• Create reusable templates, scripts, and documentation for future migrations.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or analytics engineering.
• Deep knowledge of SQL and strong Python skills for building transformation pipelines.
• Experience working with multiple database types and complex schemas.
• Ability to design validation logic, detect inconsistencies, and safeguard data quality.
• A structured, calm, and methodical approach to handling messy or legacy datasets.
• Fluent English (Dutch is a plus).
• Must be based in the Netherlands.
• No visa sponsorship IND.
