Backend Engineer (Node.js/Python)

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs using TypeScript/Node.js and Python.
• Build microservices for the smart monitoring platform and GraphQL APIs for frontend integration.
• Work with data pipelines across the full lifecycle from sensor data ingestion to customer delivery.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and cross-functional teams on features and architecture decisions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, CI/CD, and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of backend engineering experience building reliable, scalable systems.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js or Python, with cloud services experience (preferably AWS).
• Understanding of microservices, distributed systems, APIs, and databases.
• Fluency in English for communication with international team.
• Experience collaborating with third-party stakeholders and integrating external APIs.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka, Flink, or ClickHouse.
• Streaming technologies and time series databases.
