TL;DR

Senior Developer Solutions Strategist: Providing strategic guidance and direct support for complex, high-value Developer Platform deals with an accent on commercialization, pricing, and deal optimization. Focus on market analysis, sales enablement, and contributing to the long-term strategic vision for developer platform growth.

Location: Hybrid role requiring work from Texas, New York, or San Francisco, or willingness to relocate to these locations.

Salary: Estimated annual salary range: $212,000 - $292,000 for Texas. $234,000 - $321,000 for New York City, New Jersey, Washington, Washington DC, and California (excluding Bay Area).

What you will do

  • Provide strategic guidance and direct support for complex, high-value Developer Platform deals.
  • Evangelize the Developer Platform's value proposition in customer and partner calls.
  • Optimize deal workflows by partnering with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Product teams.
  • Collaborate on and implement pricing strategies, packaging, and licensing models.
  • Develop and deliver training and best practices for sales teams.
  • Analyze deal performance to identify improvement opportunities and inform future strategies.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in business development, sales strategy, or similar roles, preferably in SaaS or developer-focused product environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to structure and negotiate high-value, multi-year SaaS agreements with enterprise clients.
  • Strong sense of ownership, taking initiative and managing time effectively.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly customer-centric with a strategic mindset for solving commercial problems.
  • Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and experienced in using data for commercial decisions.
  • Work from Texas, New York, or San Francisco, or be willing to relocate to these locations.
