Engineering Manager (SaaS/Energy)

What you will do

• Lead and empower an engineering team in an agile environment.
• Provide technical guidance, solve complex technical problems, and ensure adherence to engineering standards.
• Coordinate project execution, prioritise work, allocate resources, and collaborate with product, design, business, and strategy stakeholders.
• Build a positive, collaborative, and psychologically safe team culture.
• Mentor engineers, provide feedback, and support career development.
• Ensure delivery quality through practices such as code reviews and continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• Experience managing and developing engineering teams, including meaningful hands-on people management in a co-located or hybrid environment.
• Strong experience working directly with engineers through 1:1s, coaching, feedback, team development, and day-to-day collaboration.
• Several years of software engineering experience combined with proven leadership responsibility, such as Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, or Team Lead.
• University studies in Computer Science or comparable IT experience.
• Experience with Angular, Spring Boot, and Amazon Web Services.
• Strong written and spoken English skills; fully remote-only management experience is not sufficient.

• Experience managing fully distributed teams.
• Experience implementing Scrum methodology.
• Current knowledge of emerging technologies and industry best practices.
