Engineering Manager (SaaS)

Location: Barcelona, Spain; hybrid model with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote

What you will do

• Lead and manage an engineering team developing and delivering high-quality software solutions.
• Guide cross-functional and distributed teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to a high quality standard.
• Set clear objectives aligned with organizational goals and support performance through regular one-on-ones.
• Build a culture of mentoring, continuous learning, innovation, collaboration, and technical growth.
• Participate in interviewing and hiring engineers while developing technical talent.
• Collaborate with Product, Platform, and Design teams and help shape the culture of the Barcelona engineering hub.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
• Proven experience leading and managing engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of one or more of Node, React, SQL, Kubernetes, GraphQL, Docker, gRPC, or Pub/Sub.
• Familiarity with SaaS platforms and cloud technologies.
• Experience hiring, mentoring, and developing technical talent, plus a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Hiring process

• Introductory call of approximately 30 minutes.
• Hiring Manager profile review and interview focused on technical and team fit.
• Technical interview lasting approximately 60–120 minutes, followed by an optional team meeting.
