TL;DR

Location: Remote (US) or Palo Alto, CA. Cannot hire in Wyoming and Illinois. No visa sponsorship.

Salary: $45/hour - $100/hour

What you will do

• Use proprietary software to provide input and labels on biological projects.
• Support delivery of high-quality curated data for AI training.
• Collaborate with technical staff to improve annotation tools and AI task training.
• Choose and solve complex problems in biology, biotechnology, and life sciences.
• Interpret and execute tasks based on evolving instructions.

Requirements

• Must have a Master’s or PhD in biology-related field.
• Proficiency in English reading and writing.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working remotely with self-motivation.
• Own a compatible computer and smartphone.
• Work hours aligned with PST initially, then own timezone.

Nice to have

• Publications in peer-reviewed journals.
• Previous AI tutoring or teaching experience.
• Technical writing or journalism experience.
