Analytics Engineer (AI)

Location: San Francisco, New York City, Boston, or remote within the United States

Annual salary: $140,000–$180,000

What you will do

• Build scalable dbt models and business context for self-serve analytics.
• Maintain and expand the data stack across Fivetran, dbt, BigQuery, and Hex.
• Connect Salesforce, Stripe, Metronome, Postgres, and other sources to the BigQuery warehouse.
• Build dashboards tracking company goals and key performance indicators.
• Analyze product usage and operational data to identify insights about customer health, adoption, and revenue.
• Develop a deep understanding of business metrics to support alignment and decision-making.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a related role.
• Technical proficiency with BigQuery, dbt, Hex, Fivetran, and Segment or similar tools.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to investigate data and synthesize findings effectively.
• Curiosity and strong business judgment to anticipate needs and generate meaningful insights.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, unstructured environment.
