Data Engineer (AI)

Salary: $168,300–$297,000 USD annually, depending on location zone, skills, experience, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Create and optimize data models across event, customer, and process-level datasets using AI-assisted development tools.
• Own critical data pipelines, including customer datasets, money movement pipelines, and infrastructure for experimentation.
• Build monitoring for data quality and lineage, including AI agents that reduce false positives and automate issue resolution.
• Participate in on-call operations, diagnose pipeline issues, resolve business-critical failures, and maintain service-level agreements.
• Translate product and business requirements into automated, end-to-end data solutions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, 8+ years with a Master’s degree, or equivalent experience.
• High proficiency in SQL, Python, and dbt.
• Experience designing medium-to-large data engineering solutions across scoping, design, development, testing, deployment, and documentation.
• Experience with ETL scheduling and dependency management tools such as Airflow or Prefect.
• Experience with schema design, dimensional data modeling, data quality monitoring, and data lineage monitoring.
• Experience using AI and agentic automation to support data-driven decisions.

Nice to have

• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, GitHub, Omni, or Terraform.
