Analytics Engineer (AI)

Location: Flexible remote-first work with optional office spaces in New York City and San Francisco.

Salary: $180,000–$210,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Define, build, and visualize core product and business metrics.
• Design and analyze A/B experiments and adapt data models for new products, pricing, and business initiatives.
• Build and maintain canonical data models, production ETL, reverse-ETL pipelines, and data quality monitoring.
• Develop AI agents and self-serve analytics tooling to automate data team workflows.
• Partner with product, engineering, growth, revenue, and go-to-market teams on engagement, lead generation, billing, and revenue analytics.
• Conduct deep ad-hoc analysis of user behavior, pricing, enterprise expansion, and churn drivers.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in an analytics-focused data role.
• Advanced SQL and dbt skills with a modern warehouse such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.
• Experience building dashboards and visualizations with tools such as Hex, Looker, Mode, Tableau, or Metabase.
• Engineering mindset with experience writing scalable queries and working with version control, CI/CD, and testing.
• Ability to work autonomously, identify opportunities, communicate complex analysis clearly, and translate insights into business decisions.
• Experience integrating AI agents into daily workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with the GCP data stack, including GCS, BigQuery, Dataflow, or Dataproc.
• Production-grade Python experience.
• Experience working on a data team at an early-stage startup.
• Familiarity with hirify.global’s platform.
