TL;DR

Senior Specialist - Customer Success (Energy): Driving post-sale customer satisfaction and value realization from subscription products with an accent on building strong customer relationships and proactively identifying customer needs. Focus on ensuring successful product adoption, optimizing usage, and collaborating with internal teams to enhance the customer journey and retention.

Location: Hybrid working, based in Tokyo, Japan, requiring physical presence in the office at least 2 days per week. Travel within Japan will be required.

What you will do

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned high and mid-value customer accounts.
  • Ensure customers find value in products by understanding their goals and needs.
  • Onboard customers through training and resources to optimize product usage.
  • Monitor customer health, identify risks, and develop improvement plans.
  • Advocate for customers by capturing feedback and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for high-quality customer experience and business retention.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Customer Success or similar functions.
  • Excellent English and Japanese language skills are required for liaising with customers in Japan.
  • Proven track record of servicing and managing regional accounts in Asia Pacific.
  • Ability to adapt, take initiative, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Basic Excel skills and knowledge of Salesforce.com.

Nice to have

  • Working knowledge of the Energy industry.
  • Experience using health metrics to drive customer success.
  • Experience working with Customer Success Platforms like Gainsight or Hubspot.
