Account Manager - Japanese Speaker: Managing a portfolio of customers in the Japan region to maximize value from the SaaS solution and ensure high satisfaction. Focus on strategic account management, advising on sustainable procurement program implementation, building customer advocacy, and liaising between customer and internal teams.
Location: Yotsuya, Tokyo. This role operates under a Hybrid Work Model. Professional fluency in both English and Japanese is required.

What you will do
- Manage a portfolio of customers in the Japan region, ensuring maximum value and high satisfaction.
- Advise customers on implementing sustainable procurement programs and integrating solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
- Develop and maintain Account Plans, acting as the main point of contact.
- Liaise between customer and teams (sales, sustainability, operations) to resolve challenges.
- Promote additional services and manage contract renewals with the Sales team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or Consulting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Sustainability, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional fluency in both English and Japanese (Written and Verbal).
- Native Japanese proficiency or JLPT N1, with documented experience in Japanese business etiquette.
- Proficiency in Excel and data analytics.
- Familiarity with SaaS, Procurement systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa), and CRM (Salesforce).
