What you will do
- Lead and manage a fullstack team of 5 engineers, ensuring delivery of the product roadmap using agile practices.
- Be accountable for the quality of service in production and provide L3 support.
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure backend systems using TypeScript, Java, Spring, and Maven.
- Implement Microservices-based solutions using AWS Lambdas and ECS containers, integrating with third-party APIs.
- Utilize Kafka for message queuing and streaming and work with DynamoDB for data management.
- Mentor junior developers and own complex changes to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in application development.
- Proficiency in React Native, Java, Spring, TypeScript, microservice architecture, DynamoDB, and AWS cloud infrastructure (Lambdas, ECS, API Gateway, SAM, Terraform, Kinesis/MSK/SQS/S3/EKS).
- Proven track record of delivery using modern engineering practices and agile methodologies (pair programming, TDD, BDD).
- Experience with GitLab and expertise in developing/consuming RESTful web services.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor engineers and manage team performance.
- Hybrid working model requires 3 days in office in Kraków, Poland.
