Software Developer (Edtech)

Location: Hybrid work with an expectation of 3 days per week in the office; locations include Kitchener, Toronto, and Winnipeg, Canada.

Salary: CAD 70,000–105,000 annual base salary.

What you will do

• Develop software for cloud-based learning products and solutions.
• Work across distributed systems, user interfaces, mobile computing, and cloud computing.
• Analyze and decompose problems into potential technical solutions.
• Collaborate with technical product managers, designers, and QA to build effective products.
• Contribute ideas and technical perspectives to product development.

Requirements

• Experience with object-oriented design and proficient coding skills in C++, C#, or Java.
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, databases, and distributed systems.
• Experience in software development, preferably in a technology-focused company.
• Acumen with artificial intelligence tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a similar technical discipline.
• Ability to work in the hybrid arrangement with 3 days per week in the office.
