Senior Software Developer (C#/.NET)

Location: Hybrid role with 3 days per week in the Oakville, Ontario office

Salary: CAD 108,900–136,100 annually

What you will do

• Own features end to end, from requirements clarification and technical design through implementation, testing, code review, release, and post-release support.
• Design and build maintainable features for an enterprise budgeting platform using C#, VB.NET, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, Telerik UI, jQuery, T-SQL, and SQL Server.
• Support the migration from a legacy AWS environment to an internally provisioned, maintained, and monitored AWS environment.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical designs and estimates.
• Perform rigorous code reviews and produce well-tested, documented code with a strong focus on security and reliability.
• Mentor junior developers and use AI coding assistants such as Claude Code while remaining accountable for delivered work.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, including substantial hands-on work with C#, VB.NET, and/or ASPX-based web applications.
• Strong T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server experience, including schema design, query tuning, and stored procedures.
• Strong knowledge of the .NET Framework, including multithreading, plus working proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Experience with object-oriented and component-oriented design and a security-in-depth mindset.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize competing work, and deliver features from design through production.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise SaaS products in regulated or public sector environments.
• TypeScript, object-oriented JavaScript, or PowerShell experience.
• Experience with SAP BusinessObjects Server v4.x and Java-based SSO components.
• Experience with agentic AI frameworks such as Claude Agent SDK, LangGraph, or OpenAI Agents SDK, including prompt architecture, tool or MCP design, and multi-agent coordination.
