• Manage and develop multiple engineering teams and managers to support career growth and team success.
• Drive operational excellence and implement processes to enable rapid, high-quality software delivery.
• Oversee AWS infrastructure deployment, budget management, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Design, Product Management, and Technical Program Management.
• Participate in recruiting and hiring to build a world-class engineering organization.
• Engage in hands-on software development quarterly to maintain technical empathy.

Requirements

• Must be located in or able to work remotely in Canada.
• Proven leadership experience managing multiple engineering teams and managers.
• Strong technical background with ability to guide teams in solving complex problems.
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and budget management.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience using AI developer tools like Copilot or Cursor.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails, TypeScript, React, and React Native.
• Experience with GraphQL and API optimization.
• Operations experience including on-call rotation and incident response.
• Experience with design systems or mobile development.
• Familiarity with GTM tools like Salesforce and HubSpot.
