Engineer (Enterprise AI Platform)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, Montreal, New York, Seattle, or Toronto

Salary: $165,000–$330,000 plus equity

What you will do

• Lead complex enterprise engineering initiatives from problem definition and technical design through implementation, launch, and iteration.
• Build core platform capabilities, APIs, and user experiences for identity and access management, billing, compliance, regional isolation, and enterprise deployments.
• Design authentication and authorization systems using standards such as OAuth and OIDC.
• Make architectural decisions that balance customer needs with scalability, maintainability, and long-term simplicity.
• Partner with product, design, and customer-facing teams to turn customer feedback into durable technical solutions.
• Establish strong practices for quality, security, observability, operational ownership, and engineering mentorship.

Requirements

• Experience building enterprise software in areas such as identity and access management, billing systems, multi-tenant isolation, private connectivity, or compliance initiatives.
• Experience leading technical projects and operating systems at scale.
• Ability to collaborate directly with customers to understand their needs.
• Comfort working across the full stack, including product and application code, cloud infrastructure, and Kubernetes.
