Lead Forward Deployed Engineer

Salary: CA$200K–CA$250K annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Set the technical direction for the Forward Deployed Engineering team, mentor engineers, unblock complex projects, and maintain hands-on contribution.
• Lead strategic enterprise deployments from technical discovery through production rollout.
• Architect, build, and debug integrations across APIs, webhooks, identity systems, email infrastructure, SIEM/SOAR platforms, and enterprise security environments.
• Turn recurring customer deployment patterns into reusable product, platform, automation, and internal tooling capabilities.
• Build feedback loops between customers, Go-to-Market, Product, and Engineering to influence product development.
• Define which solutions belong in FDE, the core product, the platform, or other engineering teams.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building and shipping production software.
• Experience setting technical direction, mentoring engineers, and leading complex projects while remaining hands-on.
• Strong customer-facing technical experience with complex enterprise customers and ambiguous technical requirements.
• Experience with APIs, webhooks, OAuth, SAML, SCIM, identity and authentication systems, and enterprise infrastructure.
• Strong product judgment, technical communication, architecture, debugging, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• High agency in ambiguous environments and the ability to move customer problems from discovery to production.

Nice to have

• Experience with security platforms or SIEM/SOAR ecosystems.
• Experience building with LLMs, AI agents, or AI-powered workflows.
