What you will do

• Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing mobile design engineering team.
• Define technical vision and strategy for mobile design systems across iOS, Android, and web.
• Collaborate closely with design, product, and engineering leadership to prioritize mobile initiatives.
• Drive best practices for mobile-first development and ensure production-grade, performant patterns.
• Oversee architecture of complex mobile UI components and provide technical guidance.
• Champion accessible, responsive interfaces and improve design-to-development workflows.

Requirements

• Location: Must work from Foster City, CA office on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
• 3+ years engineering management experience with scaling teams and building production frameworks.
• Strong mobile development background including native (Swift/Kotlin), React Native, PWAs, and mobile design patterns.
• Excellent communication skills for technical leadership and people management.
