Manager Software Engineering (Remote) (Microsoft/React)

Location: United States; Remote. Work-from-home setup with company-provided equipment and a reliable internet connection of at least 50 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.

Salary: $112,500–$140,000 annual full-time salary.

What you will do

• Lead the development, implementation, testing, documentation, and maintenance of web-based applications.
• Build, recruit, onboard, mentor, and retain a high-performing software engineering team.
• Provide technical leadership and evaluate Microsoft technologies, React, cloud infrastructure, testing frameworks, and other tools.
• Guide architecture and technical debt management with a focus on modularity, scalability, security, and performance.
• Plan and oversee projects, including scope, timelines, resources, risks, milestones, stakeholder communication, and delivery.
• Promote Agile practices, CI/CD processes, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; a high school diploma is required when using equivalent experience.
• Five to seven years of software engineering experience, including hands-on development of large-scale web applications using current Microsoft technologies.
• Experience managing enterprise-level websites and leading or mentoring engineering professionals.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, React, cloud infrastructure, and testing frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, facilitation, people management, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and team responsibilities under tight deadlines and work effectively across disciplines.
