Forward Deployed Engineer

What you will do

• Build, deploy, and operate production systems used by enterprise retailers and delivery services.
• Work directly with customer engineering, operations, and leadership teams.
• Take new products from concept through live deployments.
• Design and extend infrastructure for global delivery orchestration.
• Debug logistics workflows across fleets, APIs, and integrations.
• Partner with product and AI teams to shape engineering direction across APAC.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building and shipping production software.
• Strong experience with APIs, backend systems, or platform integrations.
• Ability to move between coding, customer problems, and architecture decisions.
• Bias toward speed, iteration, and ownership.
• Clear communication with operators, CTOs, and executive stakeholders.
• Ability to work in the Australia-based hybrid setup in Sydney or Melbourne.
