What you will do

• Lead research, design, and implementation of novel 2D and 3D computer vision and deep learning algorithms.
• Drive innovation in 3D reconstruction, SLAM, hand/body tracking, object detection, and video processing.
• Optimize models for deployment on edge devices and cloud infrastructure.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Evaluate academic research and contribute to patents and publications.
• Collaborate with software, product, and hardware teams to meet performance targets.

Requirements

• Location: Must be able to work onsite in San Francisco, CA, United States
• Ph.D. or Master’s with 4+ years applied research experience in computer vision or related fields.
• 5+ years experience in 2D/3D computer vision and deep learning algorithm development.
• Expertise in deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Jax) and programming in Python and C++.
• Strong theoretical knowledge of computer vision fundamentals and practical experience with real-time ML systems.
