What you will do

• Design and implement SOTA Deep Learning and GenAI models for image processing and computer vision.
• Connect advanced DL modeling approaches to domain-specific semiconductor problem statements.
• Perform model training, tuning, and validation using domain datasets.
• Optimize DL/GenAI model throughput and cost to meet product requirements.
• Conduct A/B testing and analyze model performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with peers and present technical results in professional settings.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related quantitative fields, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of related experience.
• Must be based in the USA (Milpitas, CA).
• Demonstrated expertise via technical publications in top conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, CVPR, ICML, ICLR).
• Proficiency in Python and one additional language (C++, Java, Rust, or Go).
• Proficiency in at least one deep learning framework such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
• Experience applying DL or GenAI to real-world problems with impactful results.

Nice to have

• Experience with DL model optimization for reduced precision (e.g., FP8, FP4).
• Experience with Vision Foundation Model (VFM) pretraining or post-training.
• Experience in semiconductor process control.
