TL;DR

Account Executive (DevOps NA): Driving sales of DevOps solutions to new enterprise clients with an accent on acquiring new logo accounts and building long-term relationships. Focus on owning the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals and collaborating with internal teams for seamless customer experiences.

Location: Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, and be willing to travel to client sites within the region as needed

Salary: $100,000 base, plus commission target in a similar range

What you will do

  • Identify and target potential clients focusing on DevOps needs across industries.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer requirements and DevOps trends.
  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline through proactive outreach and networking.
  • Present and demonstrate DevOps solutions with Systems Engineer to highlight value propositions.
  • Collaborate with marketing to align sales strategies with campaigns.
  • Negotiate contracts, close sales, and stay updated on industry developments.

Requirements

  • 3+ years selling enterprise software to C-level and senior executives, exceeding quotas in competitive markets
  • Deep understanding of DevOps or adjacent technologies and software development lifecycle
  • Experience with sales methodologies like MEDDPICC or Command of the Message
  • Consultative sales approach, nurturing relationships and aligning offerings with business outcomes
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Self-motivation, resilience, and ability to thrive under pressure
