What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of data engineers, driving operational excellence.
• Architect and oversee large-scale data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Airflow, DBT, Python, Kafka streaming, and Snowflake.
• Partner with analytics and BI teams to define and deliver business metrics, KPIs, and standardized data models.
• Manage data integration and transformation from enterprise systems such as Salesforce, NetSuite, and Workday.
• Collaborate with data science and product teams to support AI assistance bot integration and ML workflows.
• Ensure engineering excellence by aligning data practices with DevOps principles and data governance standards.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3+ years in a people management or leadership role.
• Demonstrated success leading and managing global, distributed teams across multiple time zones.
• Proven expertise with Airflow, DBT, Python, Kafka streaming, and Snowflake.
• Deep experience in API-based data ingestion, real-time streaming, and data pipeline orchestration at scale.
• Hands-on experience with data integration from SFDC, NetSuite, Workday, and similar business platforms.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related technical field.
