TL;DR

Director of Business Development: Driving new business opportunities and generating revenue by selling Fidus products and services with an accent on prospecting, up-selling, and cross-selling activities. Focus on leveraging existing partner relationships and positioning Fidus as an early-stage design consultant.

Location: Preferred candidate should be located within the Pacific Northwest area and required to travel 50% of the time.

What you will do

  • Drive and close new business opportunities selling Fidus products and services.
  • Generate revenue through prospecting, up-selling, and cross-selling activities.
  • Leverage existing partner relationships for introductions to new contacts.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of client’s business priorities and translate them into opportunities.
  • Position Fidus as an early-stage design consultant in the conception and delivery of innovative products.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience working with semiconductors, electronic design services, or embedded software.
  • Completion of a Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent.
  • Prior experience selling services in both turnkey design and outsourced staffing is preferred.
  • Ability to successfully demonstrate the required technical competency in electronic design services or similar industries.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business.
