Retail Sales Specialist

Location: San Francisco, California; hybrid workplace with outside, door-to-door customer visits in the San Francisco Bay Area

Salary: $33,500 per year plus commissions and benefits

A publicly listed communications and payment services corporation operating across more than 20 countries, with divisions covering international calling, mobile services, money transfers, retail solutions, and carrier services.

What you will do

• Sell point-of-sale systems, merchant services, credit card processing, cash advances, loyalty programs, and other retail products.
• Prospect small-business customers, secure orders, complete applications, follow up, and close deals.
• Build a territory growth plan and maintain customer satisfaction after the sale.
• Explain service usage and provide light technical support for customer equipment.
• Coordinate installation and appointment schedules.
• Work with Operations, Sales, Finance, and Help Desk teams.

Requirements

• At least 1–2 years of merchant services sales experience.
• Previous point-of-sale implementation and sales experience.
• Ability to travel locally and visit customers door to door in the San Francisco Bay Area.
• Basic computer skills and comfort using tablets and Bluetooth equipment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Ability to communicate, present, influence stakeholders, multitask, and maintain attention to detail.

• Fluency in both English and Spanish; other languages may also be considered.
